Jihadists from Islamic State are trying to build a global coalition beyond the Middle East and have begun a recruitment drive in the heartland of the rival terrorist network al-Qaeda.
Supporters of Islamic State (Isis) have been handing out a 12-page pamphlet entitled Fatah, or Victory, in and around the Pakistani city of Peshawar, say residents. The booklet, adorned with a picture of an AK47, has appeared in Afghan refugee camps near the city as well as in neighbouring Afghanistan.
